Do not fall for the Bloomingdale's scam ads on Facebook leading to bloomingdales-sales.shop, as the website mentions Nordstrom Rack and Louis Vuitton handbags or purses and is not legit, and no reviews are needed. Scammers apparently residing in China and possibly Ghana executed this scam in August 2024 by pretending to be Bloomingdale's on the scam website bloomingdales-sales.shop, which again shows Nordstrom Rack and something about Louis Vuitton. A WHOIS domain search found the website registered on a China-based domain registrar. The official Bloomingdale's website is simply bloomingdales.com.
I first noticed the Bloomingdale's scam on bloomingdales-sales.shop when performing some searches on Google on Sunday Aug. 25, 2024. I then searched through Meta's ad library and quickly found why people were looking up the terms Bloomingdale's scam.

A few months from now, I expect scammers to once again be out in full force in Facebook and Instagram ads attempting to scam people with fake holiday sales, especially around Christmas. For years, scammers have advertised a seemingly endless number of scam ads claiming they represent major brands selling holiday items for exremely low prices. Here's the weird thing: For whatever reason, sometimes, people actually do end up receiving a package from the scammers. However, it's never what they expected. It's either something completely different or it's the item they ordered produced at a much lower quality than expected.
