How to Set Up the Nighthawk Mesh WiFi 6 System by Netgear

Simply download the app, plug in your Mesh Extender, and tap on the New Setup option. Connect to your Extender's network and the Nighthawk App will guide you through the few short steps. Once your setup is complete, you can continue to use the Nighthawk App to monitor your network and get more out of your WiFi. Manage connected devices, update firmware, check network status, and so much more — accessible from your mobile device anytime, anywhere.

All you need to do is open the nighthawk app on your mobile device,
Note:- In case if your router is not supported by the nighthawk application, click on the try a new system setup.
Step 1:- Select Range Extender from the list.
Note:- If the router is supported by the nighthawk Application
Step 2:- Click on the home icon at the top left in order to set up your Netgear Extender.
Step 3:- Click on New Setup
Step 4:- Click on Range Extender
Step 5:-Click on the next
Step 6:- Plugin your extender into an Electric Socket.
Step 7:- Wait for the power LED Light to Get green Until the extender is successfully Booted Up.
Step 8:- Click on the Next Button.
Step 9:- The Nighthawk application requests you to join your network netgear_Ext.
Step 10:- Selec Join from the nighthawk Application.
Note:- If you had hit the join button but still you are facing any issue and your device is still not connected to the network then you need to select the network manually from your device settings.
Wait till the nighthawk application is connected to your network.
Step 11:- Click on next on all options in order to set up your Netgear extender Device
Step 12:- Select the wifi network that you want to extend.
Note:- if your Router supports multiple bands, select the band you want to extend.
Step 13:- Now enter the password of your router.
