Netgear EX3700/EX3800 Factory Reset is easier than you might have thought of it, There are two ways you can reset your EX3700/EX3800 to default settings. First by pressing the Factory Reset button and second, by using the web user interface (GUI).
Factory Reset button:
Step 1. Look for an object like a pen or a paperclip.
Step 2. On the bottom of the extender, look for the Factory Reset button.
Step 3. Press and hold the reset button using a paper clip or pen and wait for at least 5 seconds or until the Device to Extender LED blinks amber.
Step 4. Release the Factory Reset button and wait for the extender to reboot.
Step 5. Once rebooted, your extender is back to its factory default settings.
Web GUI:
Step 1. Use a computer that is connected to the extender via wired or wireless connection.
Note: The Device to Extender LED lights solid green to indicate that a device is currently connected to the extender.
Step 2. Open your Internet browser such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome.
Step 3. Enter www.mywifiext.net in the address bar of your Internet browser.
Step 4. On the login page, type your Email and Password and click Log In.
Step 5. On the NETGEAR genie page, click Settings then Other Settings.
Step 6. Click Reset. Click Yes to proceed.
Step 7. Wait for the web user interface to finish resetting the device to factory default settings.
