Hey music lovers!
Do you enjoy creepy clowns, graveyards, old microwaves, technicolor digital ghosts, and corpse-painted saxophonists in winter coats fighting with drones? How about hard rocking and noisy instrumental power trios? If the answer is yes, to any combination of those things, hurry up and click play to experience “Lurker On the Threshold,” the debut video from Akron’s own Actual Form.
The band, guitarist Joshua Novak, drummer Ian Cummins, and bassist James Haas, has chosen to bless humanity with this kinetic audio and visual representation of the complex, rocking, and locomotive music heard on their upcoming album Hyperzone to be released on Friday, May 6 on EarthQuaker Records (yeah, that’s a thing!). Actual Form will also perform a record release in Akron at the live music venue Musica on the same Friday evening.
If you are a viewer who has issues with or fear of clowns, drones, saxophonists, etc. Neither EarthQuaker Devices nor EarthQuaker Records can be held legally responsible for the weird and disturbing dreams viewing this video masterpiece may induce.
Enjoy and good luck!
