In this tutorial you will learn how to Use the New Reminders App.
In iOS 13 Apple has rebuilt the Reminders App from scratch. When you first start the app, you’ll notice there are now automatically created groups such as Today, Scheduled, Flagged, etc.
➡️ One of the biggest features now is that you can use natural language to create reminders.
For example type out a whole reminder like “doctor’s appointment at 8 PM on Thursday” and you’ll see a suggestion to add the given date and time to the reminder in one click. Your default reminder notification rules will apply. What used to take 5-6 taps in the old app, now takes just one tap.
➡️ When you’re creating a new reminder, you’ll see a quick actions toolbar above the keyboard. There are four icons here, Time, Location, Flags and Camera. Tap on the Time icon to quickly select if the reminder is due today, tomorrow or this weekend. From the Location button, you can select if the remainder will go off when you’re getting in your car or when you’re leaving the current area.
