How I Installed DaVinci Resolve 18.6.6 on Ubuntu Studio 24.04 with AMD Radeon 6900XT GPU
This short video shows you the steps I took to install DaVinci Resolve 18.6.6 (Free edition) on Ubuntu Studio 24.04. My system runs an AMD Ryzen 9 7950x CPU with an AMD Radeon RX 6900XT GPU. This configuration can prove challenging for Linux users that are not running CentOS, Rocky, or Fedora. Any Ubuntu or Debian based distributions may run into similar requirements when attempting to install DaVinci Resolve. Hopefully, this video can help others running into issues.

First up, make sure you get the MakeResolveDeb script from:

Now, download DaVinci Resolve from the official Site:
