In AutoCAD, the MOVE and COPY commands are used to reposition and duplicate objects in your drawings. Both commands allow you to select one or more objects, specify a base point, and then specify a destination point to determine the new position of the objects.
To use the MOVE command:
Type "MOVE" in the command line
Select one or more objects that you want to move
Specify a base point
Specify a destination point
AutoCAD will move the selected objects from the base point to the destination point.
To use the COPY command:
Type "COPY" in the command line
Select one or more objects that you want to copy
Specify a base point
Specify a destination point
AutoCAD will create a duplicate of the selected objects and place them at the destination point.
Both the MOVE and COPY commands are powerful tools for editing and modifying your drawings, and they allow you to easily reposition or duplicate objects in your designs. You can also use the MOVE and COPY commands in combination with other AutoCAD commands and tools to create more complex drawings and designs.
