Euphorbia Aeruginosa succulent can usually be propagated by stem cuttings. For the process, you can use plants of different ages.
We use cuttings from shoots of the current or last year's growth. Older shoots or parts of shoots are not suitable for propagation because it is much more difficult to develop roots for them.
If it is possible, make a cut in the place of narrowing. The cutting should be from 2 cm long. In the place of the cut, the milky sap begins to stand out; we wash it off with warm water (40-45) C.
The cutting is planted in a dry soil mixture, deepening the cut by 15-20 mm. The soil mixture must be sterilized.
Here are some rooting care conditions for the cuttings:
Illumination - diffused sunlight (40%);
temperature + (16-35) С.
The first watering is done two weeks after planting. The frequency of watering - once every two weeks, and only in sunny weather and at the specified temperature range.
After two or three months, the root system is developed. After that, the young plants are planted in individual pots.
IMPORTANT: when planting cuttings and young plants - the size of the pot should be minimal - in our case, the cuttings were planted in a 60ml pot, the young plant was planted in a 40ml pot.
