In this episode we will talk about venus flytrap propagation at home conditions.
The procedure is carried out in the middle of summer.
The baby plant separates easily, there is no visible connection with the mother plant.
After we divided the bush, we clean the plant from dead and damaged leaves, as well as bad roots.
After cleaning, parts of the plant are ready for planting.
To plant Venus flytrap, we use a sterilized soil mixture prepared according to the following recipe:
90% sphagnum and 10% sand
When planting, it is necessary to maintain the previous level of deepening the plant in the soil mixture.
Watering is carried out with distilled water. When watering, we clean the leaves from the remains of the soil mixture.
Leaves without roots can be used for propagation by leaf cuttings.
While we were working with the plant, it had already managed to eat.
