Cheap Chinese NES clone consoles are all over the place for ridiculously cheap. I don't remember how much this one costs, but it claims to have 500 games. I think it's much closer to the 200 number, as many of the games repeat more than twice.
So what does this cheap NES clone get you? It gets you such classics as Aladdin III, Super Contra 8, Tetris II, The Tiny Toons 3 Crazy Castle and Police Dog Lasy. No, I didn't intentionally misspell that last one. If thinly reskinned romhacks of otherwise mediocre games are your thing, well, there's funnier ways to get that outside of a dedicated console with really poor levels of audio buzzing.
Lots of these romhacks are of really dodgy quality, on top of that. I get that these were probably made to be thrown onto a floppy disk and sold in Hong Kong for less than a quid, but man, some of these really suck. Not to mention the controls feel ridiculously floaty, but that could be down to things unrelated to the actual games in some cases.
If you enjoy really poor gameplay of really poor bootleg games, you'll probably enjoy this half-hour bout of my lack of attention span. If you don't... well, the search bar is a mouse's throw away... or a swipe and a button press away...
