Throughout the last couple of years, I've received lots of messages and emails from artists looking to start or grow their businesses.
I receive questions such as:
How did you start your online business? What are your current income streams? How large was your audience before you launched your Patreon/courses? What do you do to grow your online audience without going crazy? How do you stay on top of multiple income streams, weekly content creation, and making time for art? How do taxes work for artists? How do you set prices on your work? How did you grow your YouTube channel?
I've been on this journey since 2017 and *finally * feel ready to share what I've learned... the ups and downs, the successes and the failures, and everything that has helped me get to the point I'm at today, which is fully making a living doing what I love.
I felt compelled to start this series because I want to save others time and frustration, and at the same time provide encouragement for those looking to make an income via their work.
I know how confusing and overwhelming building an art business can be, but if this is your dream (like it was for me) know it can be done.
This is why I've started this Art Business series, which I'll be creating alongside my usual drawing and painting tips/tutorial videos.
