This year, I started a mixed-media sketchbook project in which my primary goals are to have fun, allow myself to explore, and let the chips fall where they may.
I've been working on these sketchbook spreads in between larger pieces and drawings/paintings I'm creating for tutorials.
So far, I've created 14 spreads and I can say it's been an amazing way to bring joy back into my creative process, especially after having struggled through burnout last year.
As I've been completing more spreads, I've discovered techniques and a method that helps me arrive at results I love.
