The Last BC Rail Barn! BCOL 4609 C40-8M makes its last run on the CN Waukesha Sub!

It is officially the new year and on a day I wasn't even planning on going out I saw on a heads up post that the last BC Rail C40-8M was headed for storage and it would make its last trip on the CN Waukesha Sub so I made sure I wouldn't miss this. We went just north of Fond Du Lac, WI where we would catch it before it entered the shops. The last time I saw one of these BC Rail C40-8M was almost 4 years ago and I was very happy to get one last chance at one. Its sad that the era of these roaming the rails of Canada and the US on the BC Rail and CN system from the early 90s to late 2010s is over but they will always be remembered for the great locomotives they once were. Farewell BCOL 4609 and the rest of the old school C40-8M fleet.
