Burnout 2: Point of Impact was the first Burnout game to introduce the Crash Mode to the series, where your only goal is to cause as much monetary destruction as possible. Here, in the game it was introduced in, it's relatively simple - find a car to crash in and let the multipliers do the singing.
Unfortunately for me, I don't understand basic game mechanics, so I never do all that well in this game's Crash junctions. It could be worse, though - least I got Bronze at the very least in a couple of them.
Oh, this also serves as a test of aspect ratio correction. Burnout 2's 16:9 mode is a proper 16:9 mode, especially when played in its 480p output mode. But because of the way the PS2 outputs video, this means that you're dealing with stretching a 640x480 image in a 720x480 output. This means I had to manually stretch the image to actually keep the aspect ratio proper here.
