Did you know The New Mutants was originally supposed to include one extra team member? Director Josh Boone tried really hard to include the fan-favorite character Warlock. Sacha Baron Cohen would have played the character as a full-fledged team member, paving the way for a sequel in the form of an alien invasion horror movie. But the character was too expensive to animate, and Disney’s acquisition of Fox put the sequel to rest for good.
