Did you catch this in Stranger Things? In Episode 6, the gang successfully catches Eddie, who has been on the run since the community started to suspect him of being responsible for the town's kidnappings. He replies, "Very goddamn far from okay," when they ask him if he's okay. The identical question is answered by Marsellus Wallace in "Pulp Fiction" at one point: "Pretty f***ing far from okay." Nevertheless, given that "Pulp Fiction" is a 1990s film and not an '80s film, perhaps this is all in our brains.
