Did you catch this in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent? Fans of Sly Cooper will recognize the reference to Face/Off in the movie, which feels like it was taken straight out of a classic 1990s action film. Fans of the Nicolas Cage film have been clamoring for a sequel for years, but they will have to make do with the scene where Cage confronts Lucas, the film's antagonist. Similar to the dramatic confrontation between Travolta's Sean Archer and Cage's Castor Troy in the film Face/Off, Cage is standing behind Lucas with one arm over him and the other holding a gun to his head. Jamie Archer's struggle to escape her father is echoed when Lucas gets a knife and stabs Cage in the leg, twisting it as he falls.
