Talk Summary: PacBSD (Pacman BSD) is a rolling release take on FreeBSD by pulling in parts of Arch Linux into it. We use FreeBSD as our core because of the improved memory management, improved network stack, code quality, and security that FreeBSD offers over Linux. At the same time the pieces of Arch Linux we pull in because of their simple and user-centric nature.
