Will You Inherit Your Parents' Debts After They Die? -- Florida Attorney Steve Kramer explains
http://www.mykramerlawfirm.com

Listen as Florida probate attorney Steve Kramer wants to talk to you about one of the things you may not think about if your parents die.

Following the death of a parent or parents, you may be overwhelmed by all of the things you're going to need to handle with their estate.

One of the things you may wonder about is whether or not you will inherit your parents' debt after they die. Through their estate, your parents may leave you with assets like property, and even money. But do you also inherit their debts? Basically you cannot inherit your parents' debts, so creditors cannot come after you or take away the assets you've inherited in most cases. Once they die, most of their debts die with them. Of course, there are some exceptions. For example, if you were to inherit their house and there was a lien on the property that would become part of your debt now as well. At that point, you have the choice to refuse the property or item connected with a debt as it may not be in your interest. Watch the video now to learn more.
