Seat belt laws were put into place due to the high number of fatality from car collisions. Buses don't have seat belts. So is it dangerous to ride in a bus?
No. Buses are actually a really safe method of transportation and we have Isaac Newton to thank for that.
This short video goes over two reasons why bus passengers are still safe despite the lack of seat belts. One intuitive. The other... also intuitive, but a little bit less so.
