This video is the first installment of a new playlist: Personal Narratives. My subscribers and friends a lot of times write to me in response to my history videos with stories of their own or of their families. These stories are very dramatic and very revealing about how events touched upon their close ones. So I start this series with a short episode from the history of my family, This is a story of my Grandpa and how he escaped Stalin's Great Terror.
