The New Year is at our doorstep and as it usually happens, I made a wishlist of programming languages I'd like to learn in 2022. As a programmer is very important to keep up to date, with the latest trends and technologies the market has to offer. If you wanted to know what my next programming languages are going to be make sure to check this video.

First of all:
GraphQL: it's a very modern and fast query language ideal to build powerful APIs that are not based on RESTful architecture. On a difficulty scale from 1 to 10, I'd give it a 7. Not too difficult, but to understand properly requires some time
React Native: I really want to start learning mobile development. It has been an obsession of mine for quite some time and React Native can really offer a powerful platform to create mobile applications both for Android and iOS, considering it's basically JavaScript I think it is a good 6/10;
TypeScript: what a language, more secure, more efficient and help developers to save time debugging. NodeJS really needed a language like this to step up, and I am super excited to learn this. Difficulty is on 7/10, it is JavaScript and much more;
ElectronJS: along with mobile development why not take a peek at desktop apps as well? ElectronJS is a popular JavaScript library to create wonderful desktop applications, just think of VSCode and you can understand how powerful this one is. Difficulty 6/10, it's JavaScript after all
C++: it's scary but necessary. C++ is the programming language to get started getting serious about software development, embedded systems, OSs. Difficulty 9/10. Wish me luck!!

Do you think my goals are too ambitious? Let me know in the comments below or on Twitter, and also what are your goals for 2022?

I'll see you at the next one,
