💐This is one of my absolutely favorite party decorations!!!! They are utterly perfect for a tropical or summer party, or even a summer wedding!!! You can make one that can be added as decor on a food or buffet table, or even make a bunch as centerpieces. Several years ago I made these as centerpieces as they were a huge hit!!

🍍Supplies

Pineapple
Pineapple Corer
Gallon Ziploc Bag
Wet Floral Foam (be sure not to get the dry floral foam until you intend to make these with silk flowers!!!)
Fresh Flowers/Greenery

📝 Directions

1. Slice off the top of the pineapple.
2. Place cutter over core and twist into pineapple. Continue twisting until you reach the bottom, without cutting through the outer rind. Remove pineapple and dump out any remaining juice.
3. Soak a block of wet floral foam in water until it is fully saturated with water. It is best to do this in a large container that allows the floral foam to fully sink into the water.
4. Once fully saturated, trim off the corners of the foam block so it fits within the pineapple (like an octagon). This also provides additional surface area for the floral stems to be insert into.
5. Place floral foam into a gallon ziploc bag, and then put into pineapple.
6. Trim off floral foam until about an inch remains above the top of the pineapple. Trim off edges at an angle to create additional surface area.
7. Cut off the excess bag.
8. Insert floral stems into foam to create bouquet. Stems should be fairly short when creating a bouquet with foam. Be sure to turn the bouquet as you’re creating it. 🌹 COMMENT and let me know if you want a full video or have questions on this particular step!!!

🕰️ I’d recommend making this as close to your party as possible for maximum freshness! I actually recently made this 3 days before a party and although I wouldn’t recommend that, it did still look great!
