Did you catch this subtle foreshadowing in The Sixth Sense? At the end of THe Sixth Sense it is revealed that Malcolm’s character has been dead the whole time. However, perceptive fans might have noticed that Malcolm is never shown moving objects or interacting with people other than Cole. For example, when Malcolm is at the restaurant with his wife he never opens a door, he doesn’t pull out his chair, and while he does go to grab the check his wife beats him to it!
