BEST AI mocap I’ve used—so far (But there’s a catch)
Tried QuickMagic AI for AI video motion capture, and here’s the verdict: it’s the best AI mocap I’ve used—so far. But there’s a catch.
Cherry from QuickMagic AI reached out and let me test their software (shoutout to her!). At first, I was skeptical—my past experiences with AI mocap tools weren’t great. But I wanted to give video-based motion capture another shot because, let’s be honest, it’s affordable, accessible, and doesn't need specialized gear.
🔸 The good: QuickMagic’s motion capture quality is impressive. It’s honestly the best I’ve seen from an AI tool. (Better than Rokoko’s single-cam setup, which I included a sample of in the video.)
🔸 The not-so-good: The UI is buggy and frustrating. Plus, the credit-based system isn’t exactly cheap—1 “V coin” equals 1 second of mocap, with tiers ranging from a free 50 coins to 500 coins on the Pro plan.
Also, the TOS has some questionable parts I think you should know about.
