Chandansar Road to Kopri, Virar (East)
This video was filmed by me when travelling between Bhayander (West) and Virar (West), in an auto rickshaw, however, I did not film the whole journey but in different parts with the longest one being this video from Nallasopara to almost entering Virar at Kaner, near Hotel Everest.
The total fare up to Yashwant Square, which is next to McDonalds, was Rs. 655 paid through the rickshaw meter. The actual fare would have been about Rs. 13 lower owing to the fact that the ricksaw driver wanted to refuel his CNG tank at the fuel stop just after Kashimira junction. The rickshaw driver did infirm us of his untention to do so before the trip started, so we were happy to oblige. It must be noted that we paid Rs. 650 as we didn't have any additional change in the firm if couns and the rickshaw driver was happy to forego it for us, so everything went well.
Another important part of this journey was the fact that I asked the rickshaw driver to drive through the Narangi Phata (Fatak) which is operational as of 24th January 2024, and will be operational in thennear future until the flyover bridge connecting from the Eastern side to the Western side is complete. We did spot that the constrjctjon work was stopped on the day but most of the work was comolete barring the main work of slabs that need to be placed directly over the tracks and adjacent sides as well in addition to few finishing touches, etc.
