Walking inside HDIL Industrial Park, Chandansar, Virar
HDIL Industrial Estate in Virar East, Dist: Palghar, Maharashtra, India is one which I first visited back in August 2013 when the site was just newly developed and not fully sold out. The surroundings were less populated with people. The roads and traffic were many times better compared to the current state that you see in 2024. As a bank worker, my colleagues and I visited this place for almost whole of 2017 and 2018 and at one point we were known by most occupants of the industrial estate due to our constant friendly visits trying to get some business for our bank and we were sucessful on many ocassions. And so, I had to revisit this place in January 2024 to check on the changes and I did see some new buildings constructed inside the park as well as many new businesses that have moved in here whilst some of the old businesses did move out. I was thrilled to show the place to my mum as I always told her about it and even purchased a water cool keg back in 2017. As usual, the sun was punishing us with its heat, so we couldn't spend much time here, but we do plan to visit again and make some longer form videos for you all my lovely audience!
