Hey guys, welcome back to NGB 2.0 and in this video, I want to show you how you can stretch an image in GIMP. Now it's actually super easy to stretch an image in the GIMP editor. So without further delay, let's get started and see how you can do this. Now to demonstrate this, I've already imported a demo image in the GIMP editor. So this is my demo image present right here. And if you want to stretch this particular image,
you need to first select the 'Scale Tool' from the toolbox. And now make a single click on top of your image. Now normal scaling of an image is pretty easy. So this is how you scale down an image and this is how you scale up an image. But if you want to stretch an image, you need to unlink the width and height options which are present right here. So currently both the width and height options are linked as you can see right here.
So unlink it and now you can easily stretch your image according to your need. So this was a quick and short tutorial showing how you can stretch an image in GIMP. Do let me know your thoughts in the comment section below. Like the video and subscribe to my YouTube channel. I will again see you in the next video. Till then thanks for watching.
