In this 41-second tutorial, learn how to quickly model a damaged wall in 3ds Max, ideal for creating effects such as rubble or explosion damage. The video starts with a 3D wall made of stones. I demonstrate drawing a contour line to define the damaged area and then apply the Shell modifier to give it thickness. Next, I use the Subdivide modifier to increase mesh density and add the Noise modifier to create irregularities. Finally, using the Boolean operation, I subtract the newly created 3D object from the wall, resulting in a realistic, unevenly damaged wall. Watch the video to see the entire process in action!
