Let's Brainstorm Speaking Topics w/ Jessica Ivins
You have valuable things to share with others, regardless of where you’re at in your career or your educational journey. A great way to share with others is through public speaking.
Join us for a brainstorming workshop. Center Centre faculty member Jessica Ivins will help you brainstorm topics to speak about. Jess will help you recall the things you’ve done. Then, you’ll identify the things you’re confident about and excited about. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have several public speaking topics.
After you brainstorm speaking topics, you can use those topics to develop presentations for Chadev lunch or other events!
If you’re deathly afraid of public speaking and thinking, “%$#& no! I don’t want to speak publicly!”—join us anyway. We may just motivate you to overcome your fear of public speaking.
Bio:
Jess is a user experience (UX) designer who dedicates much of her time to the UX community. She founded the Chattanooga UX Design Meetup, the first professional organization dedicated to UX design in Chattanooga. She speaks internationally at conferences such as SXSWi, Midwest UX, IA Summit, UX Camp Ottawa, and UX Cambridge (UK). Jess is a faculty member at Center Centre, a school in downtown Chattanooga that prepares students to be industry-ready UX designers.
