Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new restoration project. This time I will restore an old rusty meat cleaver. The shape of cleaver very interesting, after researching in google I found next information: that axe was made in 20 centuries, after 1950y. Well, first of all I removed leftovers of plastic handle and then use loved by everyone electrolysis.
After washing, I use sandpapers with next gradation: 40, 60, 80, 320, 500, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000 and 2500. Then I started to polish on a felt circle. For handle, I used chestnut tree and for rivers used aluminum rod with diameter 8 and 10 mm. Finally for handle I used linseed oil. I hope you enjoy this restoration project too. Thank you for watching!
Sincerely, Alex. Thanks for attention!
Good luck and health to everyone! With best wishes, Alex!
