Inside the box, we have a user manual, an IR remote control, a micro USB charging cable, a loop and a 3D printed moon.
And oh, it also have these wooden pegs, that you can assemble to make a stand for the moon.
This way, it does not roll around and also, makes it easier to conceal the charging cable and the button.
I know i reviewed one of these about a year ago, but this one is a much more improved version.
It is more than twice as big, It has standard micro USB charger instead of a proprietary one that is hard to come by.
longer battery life, lasting anywhere between 4 to 20 hours depending on brightness.
and most importantly the lamp can be set to different colours.
Its white when you want it to be the moon, you can turn it to this orangish red colour for it to be mars.
You can change the colours by using the button at the bottom or by using the remote.
There are a few different colours.
It is quiet vibrant on max brightness, but i must say, the camera is slightly over exaggerating the vibrance.
There are a few different colour transition modes too.
I would normally prefer it to be in the white mode or in smooth transition mode.
The brightness can be adjusted only from the remote and not using the button on the lamp itself.
I was looking this up against nasa’s photographs of the moon, and i must say, it is pretty accurate.
It’s an actual miniature version of the moon to scale.
Its will make good prop in your gaming room, or a dreamy night lamp in your bed room.
A good gift to say i love you to the moon and back. or maybe even a stocking filler for Christmas.
