Truly wireless earphones are a very special experience.
It is experiencing a clear audio without the burden of wires. if you are used to
regular wireless earphones, this new feeling on weightless audio is different and nice.
I have the Apple AirPods, these are very good, it fits great, the audio quality is crystal clear
and the battery life including the backup charge from the case is excellent. but it has
its own problems. There are no controls on it except the double tap to access Siri, and because it is
not an in ear earphone, you hear a lot of external noise when travelling by train or flight.
Also you have to be conscious about disturbing the person next to you, this is when you
try to drown out the external noise by increasing the volume. This sound leakage definitely exists
on the apple AirPods when using it at a high volume, but it will be hard for you to realise
this because the music stops playing the moment you pull one of these AirPods
out of your ear. Cosmetically, it is not the best thing in the market. Then you have the cost,
not everyone is willing to pull out 150 quid for the wireless experience.
Thats why i like some of these Chinese earphones. they are cheap and they kind of
fill up some of the gaps the AirPods left behind.
I had reviewed these $30 earphones last month, the sound quality on these are very good.
but the case is a little bulky. So i wanted to try out something which is a little more
elegant to carry around.
Thats when I found these. They are branded as IP010 by the OEM, but they come out with
other brand names as well. Peak is an example. If you buy something that
looks like this, no matter what they are branded as, it is the IP010.
Lets open this up.
I hate this type of packaging, but whats inside is more important,
So I am going to pretend that I never saw the packaging.
Its about the same cost. comes in a smaller profile and looks better than the one i reviewed

the pairing mechanism is the same as well, so I am not going to show it again.
It has microphones on it for taking calls and it also uses the microphones for
active noise cancellation.
The button on the case is for turning on and off the charging mode. And it has a micro USB
port for charging.
But the $30 question is, should you buy these over the fantime earphones I reviewed earlier.
Unfortunately, the answer is NO. They don't fit as well. Atleast for me, they keep slipping
out of the ear. I will for sure loose them if I take them out on a run.
the earphones slot into the case, but will not attach to the base magnetically like the
AirPods or the fantime. The lid latches on magnetically, which is good, but it does not have
hinges, so thats one more thing for you to worry about.
And about the audio quality. It is in ear, so definitely better noise isolation, but the
punchy bass from the fantime is completely absent on this one. the sound is much sharper,
a little too sharp for my liking and it can get very loud. Unfortunately, it is not pleasant.
So the verdict is, if you are in the market for cheap pair of wireless earbuds. I don't see a reason for you
to buy this IP010 wireless earbuds over the BOAS Fantime wireless earbuds.
