If you’re a service provider who is trying to get their message out there and create demand for your services and products without a website then you might be stuck on the social media hamster wheel
If you’re stuck here you have likely been spending 1-2 hours a day creating content for social media and posting daily with little to no return on your efforts, spending an hour or more each day responding to the same questions over and over again, and you know something needs to change but you are intimidated by tech and overwhelmed with where to start and the time involved.
The reason this is happening is that you're focusing all your energy on building a business on a platform that you don’t own and is full of distractions- ie competitors and funny memes, and that consistently puts you at the mercy of algorithm changes. You never focused on building a platform that you own. One that builds your credibility, answers FAQs and turns visitors into leads and sales on autopilot.
And in order to fix it I bet you tried posting more, you think it will just get better over time if you stay consistent or you focus on a different posting strategy without taking into consideration that you're trying to build your business on a weak foundation that will eventually lead to burnout. Or maybe you have tried to create a website before by choosing the cheapest and most popular website platform (i.e. WordPress) that is incredibly difficult for non-designers to use and got frustrated and gave up.
