Olympus RM-CB2 Remote
Review of Olympus RM-CB2 Wired Remote Shutter Release Cable for Olympus OM-D cameras and OM System cameras including the OM-1 Mark II as well as previous generation of Olympus cameras such as the E-M1X. The RM-CB2 remote trigger does not use batteries. This shutter release cable allows half-pressing the shutter button as well as full pressing the shutter button and can also be used for bulb mode to hold down the shutter with a lock switch. So the RM-CB2 wired remote control can be used effectively for night sky photography, astro photography, and long exposure photography as well as to reduce camera shake for landscape and product photography for maximum sharpness. The Olympus RM-CB2 is also known as the OM System RM-CB2 remote trigger.
Olympus RM-CB2 Wired Remote Features
Ability to lock shutter in bulb mode exposures.
L-shaped connector: The connector features an L-shaped design to ensure a compact form when connected to the camera.
Allows you to fire the camera shutter without touching the camera which is necessary when shooting long exposures to eliminate camera shake.
Video Recording: camera can be configured to start and stop video recording using the RM-CB2 remote shutter release.
