Building a Huge Walk In Closet For Shared Bedroom Less than $50
Our boy and girl share a bedroom and we are going to split this bedroom to make one room out of two. I start the first order of business which is to build them a huge closet. I have always loved the idea of a family closet where you have one room or a hallway to put everyones clothes and the bedroom is free of clothes all together. We aren't able to make a family closet here, but it's big enough for a family! We used some clothing racks from Ikea for the hanging clothes and some small dressers for under the closet. They each get a double hanging rod. We were able to put this up on a wall that has very little support by using a long 2x4 board. All of the materials for this were well under $50, making this the best renovation project with the most impact for our family! I will be removing their original closet and remaking their one bedroom into two after this!
