Wall Tile in Bathroom Singlewide Mobile Home Makeover

I'm renovating our mobile home. I've ripped out the rotten floors in our singlewide and replaced them with plywood and vinyl peel and stick tile. Today I decided to tile the wall, and there will be another tile video, but this is the first day of tiling! Can a mobile home have tile in it? It's tricky because the flooring and the home shift a lot. The secret about singlewides is, you do not need ANY interior walls - they are not load bearing! This means you can put wall tile on any wall. You will need to space the tiles and not have them stacked directly on top of each other, to give room for movement. I am using the best adhesive for tiles - and anything really! I love this stuff! I am using a beautiful subway tile 3x6 in brilliant white and a light gray sanded grout. The wall I am putting the first tiles on is pretty terrible. I have to go in the back of it and put a board to straighten everything out, but that will be much later when the underneath of the house gets sealed and renewed. After all the wall tile is up, you don't notice it has imperfections. You must use spacers in a mobile home to reduce the chance of cracking the tile as the house moves. Get the tile as straight as possible and invest in a wet saw!

I used a vinyl tile grout - you must use this for any gaps in your tile flooring. You want to make sure there are no breaks on the edges, because if there is space for this tile to slide - it will! Close all the gaps up and make sure you fill in any spaces. It is normal to have a little space in random tiles, but you shouldn't have huge gaps. If you do, you'll have a lot of issues. You need to use specifically vinyl tile grout - regular grout in a mobile home will crack and break with movement.
