One in five Australians over 45 has osteoarthritis. The knees and hips are most commonly affected, but it can also affect other joints, and can affect people at any age. But osteoarthritis doesn’t have to be part of getting older. If you can adopt the right practices to manage osteoarthritis, you can still live well with it and do most of your usual activities.

Presenter:
Dr Laura Diamond is a trained biomedical engineer in Griffith Centre of Biomedical and Rehabilitation Engineering (GCORE) and Associate Professor in the School of Health Sciences and Social Work at Griffith University. She leads a research program focused on developing new technologies to understand, treat and manage chronic musculoskeletal conditions such as osteoarthritis.
