How to set table columns or rows to fixed width or height? | Word 2007
By default tables have preferred width, which means Word 2007 decides the sizes. But if you want to set fixed width then click with your right mouse button on the table and choose Table Properties. A window will open. In the bottom right corner click on the "Option" button. Uncheck "automaticly resize to fit content". Now you can define width and height in the properties and it will stay like that.
