On November 29, the Department of Defense (DOD) released its annual report, “Military and Security Developments Involving the People’s Republic of China (PRC),” often referred to as the China Military Power Report. The report’s release follows the conclusion of the 20th Chinese Communist Party Congress and finds that the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) continues to undergo significant modernization.
