DataLEADS: Fighting misinformation in India
A collaboration between the GNI and DataLEADS, the India Training Network has trained more than 35,000 Indian journalists, media educators, fact checkers and journalism students in fact-checking and verification skills. The program spans trainings in 10 languages across all of India’s 28 states and 5 union territories. A related initiative, FactShala brings information and media literacy training to citizens across India.
