Chicas Poderosas: Creating safe spaces in Latin American media
Chicas Poderosas works to coach and support women and LGBTQ+ journalists, and to develop future news leaders from diverse backgrounds. This is the story of how creating safe spaces in media and empowering individuals can drive progress across the news industry. In the last two years, 75 newsrooms have participated in the program in Latin America, Portugal, and Spain.
