I was asked to demonstrate how I made the "Paper Mario" and "South Park" styled 2D-animations, but in a 3D world, which you can see on my portfolio (https://www.maslowsinferno.com/p/port.... This video is done with Blueprints, which is how I'd initially done it. But I'll be following this video up with C++, which is much cleaner, and removes the whole thing from the Event Tick too.

This video was done with Unreal Engine 4.26
I made the sprites with Aseprite (it's on Steam, it's great).
I should probably script my tutorials in the future! Apologies if this is a bit chaotic. It was an interesting and new experience going back over what I'd done and narrating myself.
