Over the past decade, a growing number of pediatric inpatient units have closed, forcing many children to travel farther to get the care they need. It's especially concerning this time of year with cold and flu season ramping up and memories of last year's tripledemic, which left many hospitals without enough beds for sick children.
In this report, Spotlight on America National Investigative Correspondent Angie Moreschi looks at the the trend of declining pediatric units nationwide and the impact it's having on families.
