Dear Shift Up Studio,
I'm writing to express my concerns regarding the user interface (UI) elements in Stellar Blade, specifically related to the management and utilization of healing items.
While I appreciate the engaging core gameplay, navigating the inventory and using healing items has proven to be a significant obstacle. Here are the key challenges I've encountered:
Unclear Healing Item Differentiation: Terms like "Highly Concentrated Potion" and "Lingering Potions" lack clear descriptions, making it difficult to understand their intended effects and choose the appropriate item during combat.
Ineffective Healing Items: At times, used healing items appear to have no noticeable impact on my character's health, which is particularly frustrating in critical situations.
Unusable Stored Potions: Even when I have healing items stored in my inventory (currently 5), I cannot find a clear way to transfer them to the "available slot" where I can use them in battle. This creates a sense of helplessness during combat when I have healing items but cannot access them.
These UI issues significantly disrupt the gameplay experience, particularly during intense battles. Here are some suggestions for improvement:
Clear Item Descriptions: Providing detailed information about each healing item's effects would allow players to make informed decisions in the heat of combat.
Visual Cues on Item Usage: Visually confirming the application and effectiveness of healing items would provide valuable feedback to players.
Intuitive Inventory Management: Implementing a user-friendly system for transferring items between storage and available slots is crucial for accessing necessary resources during combat.
I believe that addressing these issues would greatly enhance the overall player experience for Stellar Blade. I'm confident that with these improvements, players can focus more on the exhilarating gameplay and less on navigating complex inventory management systems.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
