Now that I have completed Stellar Blade's Story Mode in my previous video, I thought I might have some fun with "Normal Mode". Was I in for a shock and a bad time! Let me tell you, Stellar Blade's so-called "NORMAL MODE" is no walk in the park.
From the get-go, Stellar Blade throws you into the fray as main protagonist EVE crashes her pod into the ground, kicking off what promises to be an epic adventure. But here's the kicker – the fast-paced tutorial barely gives you enough breathing room to get used to its complex combat system, and before you know it, you're knee-deep in battles that feel more like they belong in a Souls-like game than your standard action title.
Combat in Stellar Blade is all about nailing perfect blocks and dodges while stringing together combos that hit harder than a freight train. It's tough, like, really tough. And don't even get me started on the boss fights – they're downright brutal.
Sure, Stellar Blade looks stunning with its smooth 4K 60FPS performance mode and jaw-dropping environments, and the soundtrack by Keiichi Okabe is top-notch. But all that eye candy can't distract from the fact that they skipped animating some scenes and instead opting to retell scenarios in black and white still images like some point-and-click adventure.
But hey, it's just a demo, right? There's still time for the developers to iron out the kinks before the full release. And despite its challenges, Stellar Blade definitely has potential. With its intense combat, breathtaking visuals, and killer soundtrack, it's shaping up to be something special. Furthermore it is a PS5 EXLUSIVE which means those PCMR losers won't get their hands on this ever!
So if you're a glutton for punishment and looking for a game that'll test your skills to the limit, keep an eye out for Stellar Blade. Just don't say I didn't warn you. In conclusion, stellar blade is too difficult for your average gamer but it is worth the grind!
