Installing Peel and Stick Tile Flooring - Lipedema & EDS - A Girl Did It!
Our mobile home floors are in rough shape and we needed to remodel and upgrade our flooring! This stuff is great! It is peel and stick, but its not the old type that keeps coming back up. These are a luxury vinyl plank peel and stick flooring system from Trafficmaster in White Oak Taupe. The planks are 6" by 36" and they are easy to install and easy to cut to fit. Now, I do have some mobility issues and I was still able to install this floor. I have EDS and lipedema and sorry, but you'll see a lot of my lipedema legs in this video. I was on the floor for about 15 hours putting the tiles down! A girl did it though, and if I did it, anyone could! This was my first floor I've ever done and I was unable to measure. I just eyeballed everything and cut a little bit at a time to fit around the walls and obstacles. Now, I have to repair the walls and repaint, but this part of the remodel is done. Part 2 where I put vinyl tile grout down and finish the hallway will be out tomorrow. This was a 3 day finishing job because I wanted 100% of the floor covered. I DID IT! The bathroom floor will be another project, but I'm so proud and happy with how this project turned out. Thanks for the encouragement to keep going.
