How to Search for Filters on Snapchat Lens Explorer in 2025

To search for filters on Snapchat, open the Snapchat app and tap the lens explorer icon in the bottom right corner. You can also get to the lens explorer by swiping all the way to the right in the menu of filters above. Now you can check out the for you tab to find suggested filters as well as any you’ve previously favorited, find your recently useful filters in the recents tab, and browse other categories of filters such as face, world, music, and creators. If you know what you’re looking for, you can search for the name of a filter in the search bar at the top. Tap a filter preview in the results to try it out for yourself. You can then snap a photo or video as normal, or tap the downwards arrow in the top left corner to go back and check out more filters. If you find a filter you like and want to save it for easy access later, tap Favorite at the bottom to save it to your favorites.
