"In prison, I only thought about my little son" – these are the words of Klara Kusspekova from the village of Algabass in the Pavlodar region. The woman was sentenced to 8 years for murder. As a result of the tragedy, a man was killed who, while intoxicated, harassed the woman and threatened to kill her 9-month-old son. In saving her child's life, she stabbed her attacker and killed him with one blow. After the murder, she called the police herself, and she was immediately taken into custody. However, the court did not consider her actions as self-defense, and Klara was found guilty of committing a serious crime. Klara's child was immediately taken to a children's home. Three years later, her son was taken in by an incredible woman, Asel Abisheva from Pavlodar, who raised the child for 2.5 years. On September 26 of this year, Klara was released early.
