In this tutorial, I demonstrate a two-step process for creating damaged columns in 3ds Max. First, I show how to use the Displace modifier along with a Cellular map to create detailed 3D damage on the surface of a column. In the second part, I apply the ProBoolean operation to subtract the damaged geometry from the column, giving it a realistic, worn look. This method provides a quick and efficient way to model architectural damage with precision. Perfect for adding realistic imperfections to your 3D scenes.
